We are delighted to advise that ‘Stay with us on Skye’ has been successful in securing a new Short Term Let License introduced by ScotGov. By Sept 2023 every operator must have applied for a license and letting is subject to a license being granted. We have secured our license and can take bookings for 2024, safe in the knowledge that we are legally licensed to fulfill our booking commitments. Your holiday booking is secure and in safe hands.

The longer your stay, the less per night you stay.

Each stay has travel costs, cleaning costs, laundry costs and administration costs associated with it. If you add that to a 2 night stay, not a 7 night stay, its clear to see why the price per night changes. Some hosts also compensate for lost nights each week when they break the week into short trips.
We also believe that short breaks take a toll on our resources [energy/water], on our roads and on the island wilderness. many footsteps cause erosion.
